On Saturday August 29, 2026 Clinton Lodge 548 installed it's officers for 2026 - 2027. Installed were Worshipful Master Jay Terry, Senior Warden Scott Anderson, Junior Warden Terry Leckbee, Treasurer Don Varner, Chaplain Will Anderson, Senior Deacon Andrew Renfro, Junior Deacon Mike Taylor, Senior Steward Caleb George. The installing officers were Worshipful Master Dave Coborn, Installing Marshall Mike Sutton, and Installing Senior Deacon Bubba Schillo.

Clinton Lodge 548 with the assistance of several visiting Brother's performed the third degree ceremonies for Christopher Glen Brown on August 25, 2026. BR Brown was obligated by WM Will Anderson and raised by WB Caleb George, assisted by WB Hugh Sperry, grandfather of BR Brown. WB Scotty Walker gave the Lecture and RWB Mike Sutton gave the charge.

Clinton Lodge 548 was pleased to be able to recognize some of our first responders. Brother Bubba Schillo presented the Clinton Police Department with tickets to attend the dinner. They were able to attend and enjoy a delicious meal.

Sarah Sperry was the winner of the drawing for the shotgun during the Fire & Smoke event.

The Fire and Smoke fundraiser was held this afternoon at the Lodge. It was a very successful event, well supported by the community. The funds raised will be used to support various programs in the Clinton school district. Pictured is the work crew that made this event possible. Special thanks to Brother Mike Taylor for organizing and overseeing the project.

On the evening of August 11, 2026 RWB Darrin Taylor, representing the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Missouri, presented Past Master Jim Stone with his 50 membership award. Seventeen members of Clinton Lodge joined with seventeen members of WB Stone's family were present for the event.

On August 11, 2026 Worshipful Master Will Anderson presented RWB Darrin Taylor with the Master's Award in recognition of the time and work he put in on the recent Lodge remodel project.

After the merging of Hermitage Lodge and Hogles Creek Lodge, on the 6th Day of August 2026, with Most Worshipful Brother Emmett Bryson presiding, The Grand Lodge of AF & AM of the State of Missouri was opened up on the 3° of Freemasonry in due form to present the charter for the Hermitage-Hogles Creek Lodge No.279. Thirty-six Master Masons were in attendance and several lodges from several districts were represented to pay homage to the merging of two beautiful Masonic legac
